"TOURISTCARE" is a registered trademark owned by the public limited company, UNLIMITEDCARE - Serviços de Saúde e Assistência, S.A. , with Corporation Tax No. 510 367 615 and its registered office at Av. Marechal Craveiro Lopes, n.º 6, 1700-284 Lisbon.

UNLIMITEDCARE is authorised to mediate non-life insurance, since it has been registered since 18th January 2013 with the Autoridade de Supervisão de Seguros e de Fundos de Pensões (Authority for the Supervision of Insurance and Pension Funds), in the Category of Insurance Agent under number 413382027. UNLIMITEDCARE hereby declares, to whom it may concern, pursuant to the provisions of Article 32 of Decree-Law No.144/2006, of 31st July, amended by Decree-Law No.359/2007, of 2nd November, and by Law No. 46/2011, of 24th June, that the company:

a) Does not directly or indirectly hold more than 10% of the voting rights or capital of any insurance companies

b) Does not directly or indirectly hold more than 10% of the voting rights or capital of UNLIMITEDCARE that are held by an insurance company or by the mother company of any insurance company;

c) Is authorized to receive premiums to be submitted to the insurance company;

d) Is authorized to undertake insurance contracts in the name and on behalf of insurance companies;

e) Does not have the powers to pay claims in the name and on behalf of the insurance company (s);

f) Its participation is not limited to the signing of the insurance contract;

g) Its participation involves providing assistance for the duration of the contract;

h) The client has the right to request information about payments received for the mediation service and the company will provide this information accordingly;

i) As an insurance intermediary, UNLIMITEDCARE does not take on risk coverage;

j) The insurance holders and other interested parties may present complaints to the Autoridade de Supervisão de Seguros e Fundos de Pensões, without prejudice to the possibility of assistance from the courts and organisations for the extrajudicial resolution of disputes.

Lastly, it is declared that pursuant to sub-paragraph b) of Article 8 of Decree-Law No. 144/2006, of 31st July – the law which establishes the Legal System for Access to and the Exercise of Insurance or Re-insurance Mediation – “INSURANCE AGENT” is understood to be a category in which an individual person or group conducts insurance mediation in the name and on behalf of one or more insurance companies or other insurance mediator, under the terms of the contract or contracts undertaken with these entities.
